About ByeByeSpam

ByeByeSpam is a small, independent website with one goal: help regular people get fewer junk emails, robocalls, and scam texts, without buying anything.

What we do

We write step-by-step guides that explain the settings, official tools, and habits that actually reduce spam. Most of what works is free: filters built into your phone and email, carrier blocking tools, government registries, and opt-out pages. Our job is to put those in one place and explain them clearly.

How we research

  • We prefer primary sources: the FTC, FCC, state privacy agencies, and the official help pages of Google, Microsoft, Apple, and wireless carriers.
  • We describe settings as they appear on current software, but menus change often. When a step looks different on your device, the vendor's help page is the authority.
  • We update guides when rules or tools change, and we note the update date at the top of each page.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell spam-blocking apps or take payment to recommend them.
  • We aren't a government agency or a law firm, and we can't act on complaints for you. We point you to the agencies that can.
  • We don't publish fake reviews, testimonials, or scare statistics.
